How to Play
The concept of 3 Minute Heroes is simple – players have three minutes to come up with the wittiest and funniest responses to various prompts. The goal is to impress the judge and earn the most points to be crowned the ultimate 3 Minute Hero.
To start, one player acts as the judge and draws a prompt card. The prompt can be anything from “Things you shouldn’t say at a job interview” to “Things you can say about your dog, but not your partner”. The judge then sets the 3-minute timer.
Players have three minutes to write down or say their responses to the prompt. Once the timer goes off, each player takes turns sharing their answers with the group.
Note: Responses can be funny, witty, or even outrageous – the more creative, the better!
Scoring
After all the responses have been shared, the judge chooses their favorite answer for each prompt and awards the corresponding player with a point. The judge can also award bonus points for exceptionally funny or creative responses.
Once everyone has had a chance to judge a round, the role of judge rotates to the next player, and the game continues until everyone has had a chance to be the judge.
Variations
If you want to mix things up, here are some variations you can try:
- Speed Round – Instead of having three minutes to come up with responses, players only have one minute.
