Google has disabled the ability for programs to write to an external SD card in Android KitKat (Android 4.4). This is not a flaw in Flud. On KitKat, you can only download in the Android/data/com.delphicoder.flud/ folder on your external SD card. Please be aware that when you uninstall Flud, that folder is also gone.
Flud now provides a premium ad-free edition. In the Google Play store, look for “Flud (Ad free).”
