There is a new mystery to be solved in the town of Cluckingham. A priceless artifact, the legendary medallion of Bartolomeu Game, has been stolen from the Cluckingham Museum. All eyes are on the famous detective, Chicken Holmes, to crack the case and retrieve the stolen medallion. With his trusted sidekick, Eggson, by his side, Chicken Holmes sets out to unravel the mystery.
The Crime Scene
The Cluckingham Museum had been hosting an exhibition on ancient artifacts from around the world. The medallion of Bartolomeu Game was the centerpiece of the exhibition and was heavily guarded. However, in the early hours of the morning, the security cameras capture a figure in a black cloak sneaking into the museum and stealing the medallion. There were no signs of forced entry, and the security guards were found sound asleep at their posts.
Clues and Suspects
Upon closer inspection of the crime scene, Chicken Holmes discovers tiny footprints leading away from the museum. Eggson suggests that they are the footprints of a chicken, but Chicken Holmes believes they belong to another bird – a peacock. He recalls that a rare peacock, with distinctive feathers, had been seen near the museum the day before the robbery. Could this be a coincidence, or is the peacock the culprit?
Upon questioning the museum staff, they discover that the curator, Professor Rooster, had been acting suspiciously in the days leading up to the robbery. He had been seen pacing around the museum late at night, muttering to himself. Could the curator be involved in the crime, or is he just a red herring?
The Final Clue
In their search for the peacock, Chicken Holmes and Eggson come across a small deserted shed on the outskirts of town. Upon entering, they find a pile of discarded feathers that match the ones found at the crime scene. They also find the black cloak used by the thief. But who could the thief be?
Using his keen detective skills, Chicken Holmes talks to the local chicken population and gathers information about the peacock. He discovers that the peacock, known as Pavo, has a fondness for shiny objects and has been trying to impress a group of peahens with his collection. Could Pavo have stolen the medallion to add to his collection, or is someone else behind the crime?
The Unmasking
Chicken Holmes and Eggson devise a plan to catch the thief in the act. They set up a trap using the medallion as bait and hide in the shadows, waiting for the thief to show up. Just as they suspected, Pavo appears, wearing the stolen medallion around his neck. In a dramatic showdown, Chicken Holmes confronts Pavo and reveals his disguise – Professor Rooster!
“It was the perfect plan,” Professor Rooster confesses. “I knew that the security cameras would capture footage of a bird stealing the medallion, so I disguised myself as Pavo to throw off suspicion from myself. The discarded feathers and cloak were just to add to the ruse.”
With the help of Chicken Holmes and Eggson, the medallion is safely returned to the Cluckingham Museum, and Professor Rooster is apprehended for his crime.
