NUTS Cards
There are four special NUTS cards in the deck: Jacks, Queens, Kings, and Jokers. When any of these cards are played, the direction of the gameplay is reversed. For instance, if the game is going in a clockwise direction and a player plays a Jack, the gameplay now switches to counterclockwise.
If a Queen is played, the next player must draw five cards from the draw pile and skip their turn. If a King is played, the direction remains the same, but the player can choose any legal card to play regardless of the number or suit on top of the discard pile. Lastly, if a Joker is played, the player can choose any number to play and it becomes the new top card.
Winning the Game
To win the game, a player must get rid of all the cards in their hand. Once a player is down to one card, they must say “NUTS!” If another player calls them out for not saying “NUTS!”, they must draw three cards from the draw pile. However, if the player said “NUTS!” and was lying (meaning they still had more than one card in their hand), they must draw six cards instead.
