Scrutinized Game is a multiplayer card game that is centered around the concept of scrutiny and deception. Players take turns being the Examiner and the Suspect, with the goal of the Examiner being to correctly identify the Suspect’s lies and the Suspect trying to outwit the Examiner and come out on top.
The game consists of 52 cards, with each card containing a statement or fact about the Suspect’s life. These statements range from true to false, and it’s up to the Suspect to come up with believable explanations for each one.
How to Play
At the start of the game, players must draw cards to determine the Suspect and the Examiner. The remaining players will be the Audience, whose role is to vote on whether they think the Suspect is telling the truth or not.
The Suspect will draw four cards and choose which one they want to play. They must then come up with a believable explanation for the statement on the card, without revealing if it’s true or false. The Examiner will then ask follow-up questions to try and catch the Suspect in a lie.
Once all four cards have been played, the Audience will vote on whether they believe the Suspect’s explanations or not. If the majority votes that a statement is true, the Suspect will receive a point. If the majority votes that a statement is false, the Examiner will receive a point.
The game ends when all the cards have been played, and the player with the most points wins.
