Gameplay
In SLAMMED!, players take on the roles of mighty Heroes competing in an arena tournament. The goal is to defeat your opponents and win glory and treasure. Each player has a deck of cards representing their Hero and their abilities.
The game is played in rounds, with each round consisting of four phases:
- Prepare: Players draw a hand of five cards and select an active card to play from their deck.
- Challenge: Players choose an opponent and challenge them, playing their active card.
- Battle: Players use their Hero’s abilities and any additional cards to try and defeat their opponent’s card. The result is determined by a roll of the dice.
- Clean Up: Players discard any used cards and draw back up to five cards in their hand.
The game continues until all players have been defeated except for one, who is declared the winner and the Champion of the arena!
Deckbuilding
One of the most exciting aspects of SLAMMED! is the ability to build your own custom deck using cards from different Hero packs. Each Hero pack contains unique cards with different abilities, allowing players to create their own strategies and playstyles.
There are currently four Hero packs available:
- Warrior’s Pack: Focused on pure strength and brute force.
- Mage’s Pack: Masters of magic and spells.
- Ranger’s Pack: Swift and agile, equipped with ranged weapons.
- Rogue’s Pack: Sneaky and cunning, with a variety of tricky abilities.
Players can mix and match cards from these packs to create their ultimate custom deck. And with more Hero packs in the works, the possibilities are endless!
Fantasy World
Perhaps what sets SLAMMED! apart from other card games is its immersive high-fantasy world. Each card features beautiful, detailed artwork depicting creatures, landscapes, and characters from the game’s lore.
