HopCat was a popular choice among fans, with its extensive selection of beers and tasty bar food. The lively atmosphere inside was infectious, as fans cheered and high-fived one another over the Lions’ big win. Plus, with its prime location in the heart of downtown, it was the perfect spot to people-watch and soak in the post-game energy.
The Fowling Warehouse was another hotspot for fans, with its unique combination of football and bowling. Fans could continue to get their competitive fix by flinging footballs at bowling pins, all while enjoying their favorite game day snacks and drinks.
Greektown
A short walk from downtown, Greektown was another popular destination for post-game celebrations. Lines spilled out of the many Greek restaurants, as hungry fans indulged in delicious gyro sandwiches and souvlaki. And for those who wanted to keep the party going, MGM Grand and Greektown Casino were both buzzing with activity.
The Buhl Bar at MGM Grand offered a lively setting for fans to gather and relive the highlights of the game. With its upscale atmosphere and delicious cocktails, it was the perfect spot for fans to unwind and celebrate in style. Greektown Casino also had several bars and lounges, including the popular Monroe Market food hall, where fans could grab a bite to eat and continue the festivities.
Corktown
For a more laid-back vibe, many fans headed to Corktown, known for its charming historic buildings and trendy bars. One of the most popular spots was PJs Lager House, a cozy neighborhood bar with a fantastic selection of beers and live music. Fans could also grab a slice of pizza or shoot some pool at Apollo’s Lounge, a local favorite among Corktown residents.
The After Party
Even after the bars closed and the streets quieted down, the city of Detroit had one more surprise for the fans. The Lions organization hosted an after party, where fans could mingle with players and coaches while enjoying delicious food and drinks. It was a chance for the team and its loyal fans to come together and celebrate the thrilling victory.
