For centuries, the kingdom of Elmia was at peace. But as the old saying goes, all good things must come to an end. The peace was shattered when a powerful sorcerer by the name of Malazar arrived. Using dark magic, he caused chaos and destruction throughout the land, creating an army of monsters to do his bidding.
The king of Elmia knew that he had to act fast and gather the bravest warriors to defeat Malazar and restore peace to their kingdom. That’s when The Elmian Warrior Game was born. It is a tournament where the best warriors from all over the land compete against each other to prove their worth and be chosen to fight against Malazar.
The Selection Process
Every year, the tournament is held in the royal arena where the king himself oversees the battles. But not everyone can participate in the tournament. Only warriors who have proven their skill and bravery in previous battles are invited to compete. These invitations are highly coveted as it is considered a great honor to be chosen.
The warriors chosen to compete are divided into different categories based on their weapons of choice. There are categories for swordsmen, archers, mages, and more. Each category has its own set of challenges and rules.
The Battles
To become the ultimate Elmian Warrior, a warrior must win in all the categories and emerge as the champion. The battles are not just about strength and weapons, but also require strategic thinking and agility. Warriors must navigate through obstacle courses, solve puzzles, and even go through challenges that test their mental fortitude.
Each year, the tournament gets more intense as the warriors continuously push the boundaries of what is possible. Spectators from all over the kingdom come to watch the battles and cheer for their favorite warriors. The spectators are also treated to various performances and activities during breaks in the tournament.
The Final Battle
After weeks of fierce battles, only a few warriors remain, and they face off against each other in the final battle. The king himself chooses the final challenge, and it is usually the most difficult one. In the past, final battles have included fighting a dragon, navigating through a maze, and solving riddles.
The final battle is not just about defeating the other warriors, but it is also a battle against time. The first warrior to complete the challenge and reach Malazar’s hideout is declared the ultimate Elmian Warrior.
The Rewards
The title of the ultimate Elmian Warrior comes with great rewards. The winner is granted a large sum of gold, a seat on the king’s council, and the honor of leading the army in the battle against Malazar. But most importantly, the ultimate Elmian Warrior is seen as a hero by all and is remembered throughout history.
