Object of the Game
The goal of WAR Card Game_uvr Game is the same as the traditional game of WAR – to win all of the cards in the deck. Players compete against each other by playing cards from their own decks, attempting to win cards from their opponents. The player who collects all the cards is declared the winner.
Setup
To begin, two players are needed with a standard 52-card deck. The deck is split evenly between both players, and each player keeps their deck facedown in front of them.
Gameplay
Each player starts by flipping the top card of their deck simultaneously, placing it face-up on the table. The highest-ranking card wins the hand, and the player collects both cards, placing them at the bottom of their deck. Ranking of cards goes from highest to lowest: A, K, Q, J, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2. Ties are resolved by repeating the same process until a winner is determined.
The “war” happens when players tie. In this case, three additional cards are placed facedown on the table, followed by one face-up. The player with the highest-ranking card wins the hand and collects all the cards on the table. If another tie occurs during the “war,” the process is repeated until a winner is determined.
uvr Cards
In WAR Card Game_uvr Game, there are five special “uvr cards” that add a new level of strategy to the game. These cards are the King, Queen, Jack, Ace, and Jester. Each of these cards has a unique ability that can be played during a hand.
- King: The King card can be used to automatically win a hand, regardless of its rank. This card can only be used once during the game.
- Queen: The Queen card can be played to steal one card from your opponent’s deck, adding it to your own. This card can only be used once during the game.
- Jack: The Jack card can be played to replace another card in a hand with a card of your choosing from your own deck. This card can only be used once during the game.
- Ace: The Ace card can be played to automatically win a war. This card can only be used once during the game.
- Jester: The Jester card can be played to swap decks with your opponent, giving you their cards and them yours. This card can only be used once during the game.
End of Game
The game continues until one player collects all the cards in both decks, or until one player runs out of cards. If a player runs out of cards, they are out of the game. The last player standing wins the game.
