Q: Can you tell us a bit about the development process for Yonder World?
Void Game: Yonder World has been in development for over two years now. It began as a passion project for us – a small team of game enthusiasts who wanted to create something different from the mainstream games in the market. We spent countless hours brainstorming ideas and experimenting with different concepts before finally settling on the idea of a game that focuses on exploration and discovery.
Once we had the core concept in place, we began developing the game using Unity, a powerful game engine that allowed us to bring our vision to life. Our team consists of artists, programmers, and designers, and we all worked together to create Yonder World from scratch. It was a challenging but rewarding process, and we couldn’t be happier with the final product.
Q: What inspired the unique art style of Yonder World?
Void Game: One of our main inspirations for the art style of Yonder World was Journey, a popular indie game known for its stunning visuals. We wanted to create a similar dreamlike aesthetic that would transport players into a surreal world. We also took inspiration from various fantasy and fairytale elements, incorporating them into the environment and creatures of Yonder World.
We wanted the art style to feel cohesive and consistent, so we spent a lot of time fine-tuning the details and ensuring that every element fit together seamlessly. We also wanted to create a world that was both beautiful and mysterious, leaving players with a sense of wonder and curiosity.
Q: Yonder World is described as an “exploration game.” Can you elaborate on that?
Void Game: Yonder World is a game that encourages players to explore and discover at their own pace. The game is set in a vast, open world filled with hidden secrets and mysteries waiting to be uncovered. As players navigate through the world, they will come across various environments, each with its own unique challenges and puzzles.
Unlike traditional games, Yonder World does not have a set objective or goal. Instead, players are free to roam around and interact with the environment as they wish. This allows for a more personalized and immersive experience, as players can create their own adventure and make their own discoveries.
Q: Any plans for future updates or expansions for Yonder World?
Void Game: We are always looking for ways to improve and expand on Yonder World. We have some exciting ideas for future updates, including new areas to explore, additional creatures to encounter, and even some new gameplay features. We want to keep the game fresh and continue to surprise our players.
Additionally, we are also considering releasing Yonder World on other platforms, such as consoles and mobile devices. We want to reach as many players as possible and share the experience of Yonder World with a wider audience.
